Taba Reserve is a border town located on the Egyptian-Palestinian border. It is the last liberated part of Egyptian territory, with an area of 3,500 square kilometers. The reserve is home to many endangered animals, and it is rich in rare coral reefs. Therefore, the Egyptian government declared it a natural reserve when it took control from the Israeli occupation in 1989.
