The Deep South Diving Club & Eco-Lodge was founded by Karim Noor in 2000.
Karim was a popular Sharm El Sheikh resident with an interesting combination of functional and entrepreneurial experiences. He studied Business Administration at university and then led a career in the diving industry by establishing a dive operation with soft impact on the fragile eco systems. A simple yet tasteful eco friendly accommodation style to showcase the beauty of Egypt’s national parks and marine life.
He also contributed to environmental projects with various local and international NGOs, to help the local community, children health care, women handicrafts solid waste management dolphin house protection and management mooring system for dive boats reef capacity school kids awareness and environmental education. And he is the founder of the annual 3Alganoob independent music festival, the first of its kind in Egypt.
